Inleiding
PASTORIE gebouwd in 1862 in een enigszins Eclectische trant. In opdracht van de kerkvoogdij werd door Architectenbureau P. de Groot (Meppel) een restauratieplan gemaakt en uitgevoerd in 1975. De oostelijke aanbouw valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Op symmetrische en kruisvormige grondslag gebaseerd woonhuis waarvan het haaks op de weg gelegen middenstuk twee bouwlagen omvat en gedekt wordt door een zadeldak belegd met geglazuurde hollandse pannen; schoorstenen met kappen; gietijzeren mastgoten waaronder een geschulpt boeibord; windveren met makelaar. Aan noord- en zuidzijde een vleugel met plat dak. Gevelopbouw in lichtgrijs pleisterwerk met donker grijze schijnvoegen; rondboogvensters met oorspronkelijke roedeverdeling (kleurstelling beige kozijnhout; wit raamhout). De vensters aan de straatzijde hebben gepleisterde 'wenkbrauwen'. Topgevel met een gekoppeld rondboogvenster.

Residential building based on a symmetrical and cruciform plan of which the central section lying at right angles to the road comprises two storeys and is covered by a gabled roof clad with glazed Dutch tiles; chimneys with caps; cast-iron mast gutters below which a curved ship's board; wind vanes with cramp-iron. On the north and south sides a wing with flat roof. Facade in light grey rendered plasterwork with dark grey false mortar joints; round-arch windows with original glazing bars (colour scheme beige window frames; white sash); cast-iron ornamental wall anchors. The windows on the street side have rendered eyebrows. Gable with a coupled round-arch window.
