Inleiding
VILLA gelegen op een ruim eigen terrein dat is afgezet door een hekwerk, gebouwd in 1903 in Eclectische stijl, getuige de gevelsteen bij de entree met opschrift: "N.E.S. 3 sept 1903". Inmiddels is het huis in gebruik als woonhuis/artsenpraktijk. Aanvankelijk bevond zich aan de linkerzijde een grote serre en lag boven de portiek een balkon. De tuin is aan voorzijde afgezet door een eenvoudig contemporain gietijzeren hek met fleurs de lys.
De na-oorlogse uitbreiding aan de achterzijde valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Samengesteld bouwvolume in baksteen opgetrokken en bestaande uit twee bouwlagen en gedekt door een afgeknot schilddak belegd met platte friese pan; houten dakkapel met inzwenkend tentdak met zink belegd; gemetselde dakkapel met klauwstukken; fries met waterlijst, bewerkte consoles en siermetselwerk; achterzijde een aanbouw met plat. Gevelopbouw met gepleisterde plint, opgaand metselwerk met speklagen, waterlijst en fries met bewerkte consoles en siermetselwerk, geprofileerde goot. Portiek met dubbele paneeldeur met naald voorzien van smeedijzeren rooster. Het vooruitspringende gedeelte rechts van de ingang is voorzien van gepleisterde hoekreliefs die een pilaster suggereren. Vensters van diverse afmetingen met natuurstenen vensterbanken, sluit- en aanzetstenen en rood gemetselde hanekammen; een aantal hiervan met latei, aantal met onlastingsboog met in boogveld een metselmozaïek; gedeelte met T-vensters. In voor- en achtergevel drievoudig gekoppelde ramen waarvan de kleinere buitenste ramen met nis; onder deze ramen doorgetrokken pleisterwerk met in de vlakken siermetselwerk.

VILLA situated on its own spacious grounds enclosed by fencing, built in 1903 in Eclectic style, as evidenced by the facade stone at the entrance with the inscription: "N.E.S. 3 sept 1903". The house is now in use as a residential dwelling/medical practice. Originally there was a large conservatory on the left side and a balcony above the porch. The garden at the front is enclosed by a simple contemporary cast-iron fence with fleurs de lys.
The post-war extension on the rear side falls outside the protection.
Description
Composite building volume constructed in brick and consisting of two storeys covered by a hipped roof clad with flat Frisian tiles; wooden roof dormer with sloping tent roof clad in zinc; brick dormer with gutter brackets; frieze with drip moulding, worked consoles and ornamental brickwork; rear side an annex with flat roof. Facade with rendered plinth, raised brickwork with speckled courses, drip moulding and frieze with worked consoles and ornamental brickwork, profiled gutter. Porch with double panel door provided with wrought-iron grille. The projecting section to the right of the entrance is provided with rendered corner reliefs suggesting a pilaster. Windows of various sizes with natural stone sills, shutting and setting stones and red-brick headers; a number of these with lintel, some with relieving arch with brickwork mosaic in the arch field; section with T-windows. In front and rear facades triply coupled windows of which the smaller outer windows with niche; below these windows extended rendered plasterwork with ornamental brickwork in the panels.
