TWEE VAZEN OP SOKKELS BIJ TOEGANGSDAM. Twee 17de-eeuwse vazen met jachtscenes in reliëf met ruim overstekende afdekplaten. De vazen staan op een monumentale zandstenen sokkel op rechthoekige grondslag met halve met Ionische kapitelen bekroonde zuilen op de hoeken. De vazen en sokkels zijn in de tijd van de aanleg van de binnentuin in de jaren 1886-1900 op hun huidige plaats aan weerszijden van de toegangsdam op het voorplein opgesteld.

Description
TWO VASES ON BASES BY ACCESS DAM. Two 17th-century vases with hunting scenes in relief with broadly projecting coping plates. The vases stand on a monumental sandstone base on a rectangular ground plan with half columns crowned with Ionic capitals at the corners. The vases and bases were placed at their current location on both sides of the access dam on the forecourt during the period of the laying out of the inner courtyard in the years 1886-1900.
