Inleiding
Blok van drie WONINGEN van het type II (oud IV), gebouwd in 1887 in opdracht van het Ministerie van Justitie. Het ontwerp is van W.C. Metzelaar. De naam Werkzaamheid staat op de zijgevel van nummer 22. De achterzijde van de woningen valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Evenwijdig aan de weg gelegen, een bouwlaag tellende rij van drie woningen op rechthoekige plattegrond met platte aanbouw aan achterzijde. Het geheel is uit baksteen opgetrokken in een sobere en functionele stijl en wordt gedekt door een met pannen belegd zadeldak; windveren; goot op klossen; schoorstenen in nok en voorste dakschild; eenvoudige dakkapellen. De voorgevels symmetrisch ingedeeld met 6-ruits schuiframen met luiken; opgeklampte deur met 2-ruits bovenlicht; alle getoogd.
