Eenvoudige langgerekte schuur met houten kapconstructie en riet gedekt schilddak met overstek. De gevels zijn deels uit hout opgebouwd en van buiten met turfblokken afgedekt. Houten deuren aan voorzijde.
Waardering
Schuur gebouwd rond 1880, van architectonisch, typologisch, stedebouwkundig en functioneel belang alsook van belang als essentieel onderdeel van de Rijkswerkinrichting Veenhuizen. Wat betreft materiaalgebruik (onder andere turf) uniek.
