Inleiding
Voormalige BOERDERIJ met in 1890 toegevoegd CAFE, het geheel gebouwd in een ambachtelijk-decoratieve baksteen-architectuur. Inmiddels is het schuugedeelte geheel tot woonhuis verbouwd en is het woonhuis volledig in gebruik als cafe. Van belang is de hoofdmassa van het geheel en de detaillering van de gevels aan de straatzijde.
Omschrijving
Boerderij met cafe. Het cafe is gebaseerd op een langgerekt rechthoekige grondslag en bestaat uit een woonlaag gedekt door een schilddak belegd met pannen. De gevelopbouw wordt bepaald door een trasraam in rode baksteen; opgaand metselwerk in zachtrode baksteen met gemetselde banden in witte kalkzandsteen; kalkzandsteen eveneens toegepast in fries en detaillering hanekammen boven de T-vensters.
De schuur is in baksteen opgetrokken en wordt gedekt door een aan voor- en achterzijde afgewolfd zadeldak belegd met hollandse pannen.
Waardering
Het cafe is van cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de specifieke functionele ontwikkeling in een kleinschalige agrarische nederzetting; van architectuurhistorisch belang als bijzondere uitdrukking van een typologische ontwikkeling en van stedebouwkundig belang vanwege de ligging op een centraal punt in het dorp.

Farm with cafe. The cafe is based on an elongated rectangular ground plan and consists of one storey covered by a hipped roof tiled with pan tiles. The facade construction is determined by a travertine frame in red brick; rising brickwork in light-red brick with bands laid in white sandstone; sandstone also applied in frieze and detailing of cock combs above the T-windows.
The barn is constructed in brick and is covered by a curved gabled roof at front and rear tiled with Dutch pan tiles.
Valuation
The cafe is of cultural-historical importance because of the specific functional development in a small-scale agricultural settlement; of architectural-historical importance as a special expression of a typological development and of urban-planning importance because of its location at a central point in the village.
