Inleiding
De in historiserende stijl opgetrokken bouwhuizen uit 1920 behorende tot de buitenplaats Mensinge staan aan weerszijden van de toegangslaan. Het noordelijke bouwhuis vormt de pendant van het zuidelijke bouwhuis. De jongere uitbreiding van het zuidelijke bouwhuis valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Zuidelijk BOUWHUIS op rechthoekige grondslag. Het uit baksteen opgetrokken verdiepingloze gebouw heeft geblokte hoeklisenen, een brede geprofileerde daklijst en een hoog opgaand met geglazuurde Romaanse pannen gedekt schilddak; gemetselde hoekschoorstenen met (kunst)stenen elementen en een ijzeren kap; dakkapellen. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft een middenrisaliet met geblokte lisenen aan weerszijden van de segmentvormige inrijdeuren (thans met moderne glasinvulling) en boven de daklijst een frontonvormige bekroning met oeil de boeuf in een decoratieve omlijsting van (kunst)steen. In de gevel kruisvensters met glas-in-lood bovenraam; oorspronkelijk met luiken.

Zuidelijk BOUWHUIS van twee bouwhuizen van algemeen belang:

The build houses erected in historicising style in 1920 belonging to the country estate Mensinge stand on either side of the access lane. The northern build house forms the counterpart of the southern build house. The later extension of the southern build house falls outside the protection.
Description
Southern BUILD HOUSE on rectangular ground plan. The single-storey building erected of brick has blocked corner pilasters, a broad profiled cornice, and a steeply rising hipped roof covered with glazed Romanesque tiles; masoned corner chimneys with stone elements and an iron cap; roof dormers. The symmetrically arranged front facade has a central risalit with blocked pilasters on either side of the segmental entrance doors (now with modern glazing) and above the cornice a pediment-shaped crowning with oeil de boeuf in a decorative surround of stone. In the facade cross windows with leaded-glass fanlights; originally with shutters.
