Inleiding
Vrijstaande villa, gebouwd in chaletstijl als dienstwoning voor de opzichter van de Gemeentelijke Plantsoenendienst. Het rechterdeel van de villa dateert uit ca. 1860, het middelste deel uit 1898 en het linkerdeel uit 1908.
Omschrijving
Villa op H-vormige plattegrond, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder twee met pannen gedekte zadeldaken en een schilddak. Het oudste deel van de villa bezit een souterrain. De uitbreiding te linkerzijde uit 1908 is in iets eenvoudiger trant opgebouwd dan de laat 19e eeuwse onderdelen. De ver uitstekende dakvlakken worden gesteund door houten korbelen. Het dak bezit gemetselde schoorstenen, dakkapellen en pirons. De muren zijn gepleisterd met uitgespaarde bakstenen muurdelen, voorzien van houten stijlen. Aan de voor- en achtergevel van het oudste deel zijn bordessen met houten balustrades gesitueerd. Onder het bordes bevinden zich boogvormige doorgangen. In het oudste gedeelte bevinden zich vier- en zesruits stolpramen; de overige vensters bezitten uiteenlopende vormen, waaronder T- vensters met rondboog bovenlichten. De ingang is in het middendeel van de voorgevel geplaatst.
In de rechterzijgevel bevindt zich een tweede ingang, bereikbaar via een evenwijdig aan de gevel geplaatste dubbele bakstenen trap. De achtergevel bezit aan de rechterkant een houten balkon.

Description
Villa on an H-shaped floor plan, consisting of two storeys under two tile-covered gabled roofs and a hipped roof. The oldest part of the villa has a basement. The extension on the left side from 1908 is built in a somewhat simpler style than the late 19th-century components. The far-projecting roof surfaces are supported by wooden corbels. The roof has brick chimneys, roof dormers and ornamental roof tiles. The walls are plastered with recessed brick sections, fitted with wooden posts. On the front and rear facades of the oldest part are stoops with wooden balusters. Under the stoop are arched passages. In the oldest section are four- and six-pane tilt windows; the other windows have various forms, including T-windows with arched fanlights. The entrance is located in the middle section of the front facade.
In the right side facade is a second entrance, accessible via a double brick stair placed parallel to the facade. The rear facade has a wooden balcony on the right side.
