Omschrijving
Uit het tweede kwart der 19e eeuw daterend pand, geheel gepleisterd, met verdieping en mezzanino onder flauwhellend zadeldak, uitgevoerd in streng neo-classicistische trant.
De benedenverdieping bevat diepterugliggende schuifvensters (zonder roedenverdeling) en in het midden de ingang met geprofileerde omlijsting, op de verdieping achtruits-Empire-schuifvensters met geprofileerde omlijsting, met daarboven de tweedelige, diepterugliggende mezzaninovensters, voorts cordonlijsten tussen de verdiepingen en een rechte gootlijst. Ook de achtergevel is op de verdieping voorzien van een achtruits-Empire-schuifvenster, voorts van verdiepte mezzaninovensters en cordonlijsten en rechte gootlijst.
Pand, als gedeelte van een middenpaviljoen deeluitmakend van de door J.D.Zocher ontworpen stadsaanleg ter plaatse van de v.m. stadswallen van kenmerkende streng-neoclassicistische architectuur.

Description
Building dating from the second quarter of the 19th century, entirely rendered, with a storey and mezzanine beneath a gently sloping gabled roof, executed in strict neo-classical style.
The ground storey contains deeply recessed sash windows (without glazing bars) and in the centre the entrance with moulded surround, on the storey above rear-sash Empire sash windows with moulded surround, with above them the two-part, deeply recessed mezzanine windows, furthermore cord mouldings between the storeys and a straight drip moulding. The rear façade too is furnished on the storey above with a rear-sash Empire sash window, furthermore with recessed mezzanine windows and cord mouldings and straight drip moulding.
Building, forming part of a central pavilion as component of the urban layout designed by J.D. Zocher on the site of the former city walls, of characteristic strict neo-classical architecture.
