Omschrijving
Uit het tweede kwart der 19e eeuw daterend blokvormig pand, geheel gepleisterd, met verdieping en mezzanino onder flauwhellend, met pannen gedekt schilddak, uitgevoerd in streng neo-classicistische trant. De gevel aan de Van Asch van Wijckskade bevat beneden diepterugliggende schuifvensters (zonder roedenverdeling) en dito ingangsdeuren, gekoppeld, met geprofileerde omlijsting, in het midden, op de verdieping zelfde vensters, doch voorzien van een omlijsting, de tweedelige mezzaninovensters terugliggend. Kop- en achtergevel in vrijwel dezelfde trant, met omlopende cordonlijsten en gegroefde kroonlijst.
Pand, als hoekpaviljoen deel uitmakend van de door J.D. Zocher ontworpen stadsaanleg ter plaatse van de v.m. stadswallen van kenmerkende streng-neoclassicistische architectuur.

Description
Block-shaped building dating from the second quarter of the 19th century, entirely rendered, with upper storey and mezzanine beneath a gently-pitched, tile-clad hipped roof, executed in strict neoclassical style. The facade on the Van Asch van Wijckskade contains on the ground floor deep-set sash windows (without glazing bars) and similarly coupled entrance doors, with moulded mouldings, in the centre, on the upper storey same windows, but provided with mouldings, the two-part mezzanine windows set back. Corner and rear facade in virtually the same style, with continuous cordon lines and grooved cornice.
Building, as corner pavilion forming part of the urban plan designed by J.D. Zocher at the site of the former city walls of characteristic strict neoclassical architecture.
