Omschrijving
Uit het tweede kwart der 19e eeuw daterend, blokvormig pand, geheel gepleisterd, met verdieping en mezzanino onder flauwhellend, met pannen gedekt schilddak, uitgevoerd in streng-neoclassicistische trant. De benedenverdieping is voorzien van diepterugliggende T-vensters en dito gekoppelde toegangsdeuren in het midden, de bovenverdieping bevat hoge schuifvensters, waarvan aan de zijde van de Van Asch van Wijckskade de achtruits-Empire verdeling nog resteert en waarvan die op de kop een T-indeling bevatten, en alle een eenvoudige omlijsting bezitten; de horizontale mezzaninovensters, eveneens diepterugliggend, hebben een tweedeling.
De gevel aan de 1e Achterstraat is blind, doch bevat geprofileerde cordonlijsten en een omlopende gegroefde kroonlijst.
Pand als hoekpaviljoen deeluitmakend van de door J.D. Zocher ontworpen stadsaanleg ter plaatse van de v.m. stadswallen, van kenmerkende streng-neoclassicistische architectuur.

Description
Block-shaped building dating from the second quarter of the 19th century, entirely rendered, with upper storey and mezzanine beneath a gently-pitched, tile-clad hipped roof, executed in strict neoclassical style. The ground floor is provided with deep-set T-shaped windows and similarly coupled entrance doors in the centre, the upper storey contains high sash windows, of which on the Van Asch van Wijckskade side the rear-pane Empire division still remains and of which those on the corner contain a T-division, and all possess simple mouldings; the horizontal mezzanine windows, also deep-set, have a two-part division.
The facade on the 1e Achterstraat is blind, but contains moulded cordon lines and a continuous grooved cornice.
Building as corner pavilion forming part of the urban plan designed by J.D. Zocher at the site of the former city walls, of characteristic strict neoclassical architecture.
