Inleiding
WOONHUIS gebouwd rond 1885 in een ambachtelijk eclectische stijl. Het direct aan de straat gelegen pand was vroeger rijker gedetailleerd onder meer met een serre aan de noordgevel en een attiek aan de voorzijde.
Omschrijving.
Op rechthoekige grondslag met sprong aan de noordzijde gebaseerd woonhuis in baksteen opgetrokken en gedekt door een schilddak met geglazuurde golfpannen. In het zuidelijke schild een schoorsteen; een opgemetselde dakkapel aan de straatzijde met zadeldak. Gevelopbouw met gepleisterde plint; blokbepleistering op de hoeken en in het midden van de voorgevel; opgaand metselwerk in staand verband en afgesloten door een sober fries en een geprofileerde goot. Vensters aan de voorzijde met gepleisterde wenkbrauwen voorzien van Art Nouveau siermotief en sluitsteen. In de asymmetrische voorgevel een balkon op bewerkte consoles; het opgemetselde middenstuk bevat twee flauw-spitsboogvormige vensteropeningen, een speklaag, een fries en een sober fronton. In de zuidelijke zijgevel een boogvormig portaal rustend op twee gemetselde lisenen. Vanaf de boogaanzet tot de gootlijst een gepleisterd gevelveld.
Waardering
Het pand is van architectuurhistorisch belang als essentieel onderdeel voor de herkenbaarheid van de in structureel opzicht gave omgeving, mede daardoor is het als beeldbepalend object ook van stedenbouwkundig belang.

DWELLING HOUSE built around 1885 in an artisanal eclectic style. The property directly facing the street was formerly more richly detailed including among others a conservatory on the north gable and an attic on the front.

Based on a rectangular ground plan with a projection on the north side, dwelling house built in brick and covered by a hipped roof with glazed barrel tiles. In the southern slope a chimney; a built-up roof dormer on the street side with gabled roof. Facade construction with plastered plinth; block rendering on the corners and in the middle of the front facade; ascending masonry in running bond and finished with a sober frieze and a profiled gutter. Windows on the front with plastered eyebrow mouldings provided with Art Nouveau decorative motif and keystone. In the asymmetrical front facade a balcony on worked consoles; the built-up central section contains two shallowly pointed-arch window openings, a speckled course, a frieze and a sober pediment. In the southern side gable an arched portal resting on two built-up lisenes. From the arch springing to the gutter moulding a plastered gable field.
Valuation
The property is of architectural-historical significance as an essential component for the recognisability of the structurally intact surroundings, and as a result it is also of urban design significance as an image-determining object.
