Description

Partly in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century timber framing, partly built in ashlar Limburg FARMHOUSE on a U-shaped plan, partly with a low storey and covered with red Dutch and red mottled tiles on gabled roofs.

The barn on the north-west side, which is largely built in nineteenth-century brick-filled timber framing, whose gabled roof (ridge parallel to the street) runs over the dwelling section, has like the dwelling section on the street side a facade built in ashlar, in which segmental arch part-doors, three segmental arch stable windows and segmental arch carriage gate to the courtyard, and at the dwelling section on the ground floor and upper floor two segmental arch windows with stone window sills. On the south-west side the dwelling section built above a brick base, in eighteenth-century timber framing - black posts and beams; whitewashed clay-filled bays - with a low storey under a gabled roof (ridge perpendicular to the street); windows of different sizes asymmetrically placed in the facades. On the south-east side a barn built in ashlar under a gabled roof (ridge parallel to the street).

Because of the construction, the main form and the coherence with Reijmerstokkerdorpstraat 77 and the surroundings, a good and representative example of a partly timber-frame-built closed Limburg farmhouse and as such of significance from the point of view of archaeological and ethnological value.
