TUINHUISJE, eertijds genaamd "Tyltyl", behorend bij de in 1921 afgebrande trits villa's "Tamelone", "Meneva" en "Rogier", ontworpen in 1917-18 door P.L. Kramer in Amsterdamse Schoolstijl als onderdeel van het villapark "Meerwijk". Het lage huisje is met enigszins gebogen lange zijgevels opgetrokken in baksteen onder rieten kap met wolfeinden en omgezette zijboorden. De ingang met stoep bevindt zich rechts in de korte N.O.gevel waarbij evenals aan de naar de straat gewende Z.W.gevel de zijmuren zijn doorgetrokken; tegen deze Z.W. gevel is in het midden een gemetselde pijler met afgeronde hoek aangebracht ter ondersteuning van de inmiddels verdwenen bank te rechterzijde. De telkens gekoppelde vensters zijn alle van een karakteristieke roedenverdeling voorzien. Tuinhuisje met voor de Amsterdamse Schoolstijl kenmerkende plastische vormen en toepassing van bijzondere metsel-details en roedenverdeling en eigenzinnige kapvorm; voorts van belang als onderdeel van het als een geheel opgezette villapark met stilistisch verwante villa's - op initiatief van de Amsterdamse tegelhandelaar A. Description
GARDEN HOUSE, formerly called "Tyltyl", belonging to the villa estate "Meerwijk" designed in 1917-18 by P.L. Kramer in Amsterdam School style, part of which was a triptych of villas "Tamelone", "Meneva" and "Rogier" that burned down in 1921. The low house is built with somewhat curved long side elevations in brick under thatched roof with half-hipped ends and turned-over side boards. The entrance with stoep is located on the right in the short N.E. elevation and like the S.W. elevation facing the street, the side walls are carried through; against this S.W. elevation a mortared pier with rounded corner is placed in the middle to support the meanwhile disappeared bench on the right side. The repeatedly coupled windows are all provided with characteristic glazing bars. Garden house with plastic forms characteristic of the Amsterdam School style and application of special masonry details and glazing bars and idiosyncratic roof shape; furthermore of importance as part of the villa park set up as a whole with stylistically related villas - on the initiative of the Amsterdam tile dealer A.
