Inleiding.
Vrijstaande door een tuin omgeven eclectische villa genaamd Brigitta uit 1882 op samengestelde plattegrond naar ontwerp van H. Wesstra jr.. Het tuinhek met gietijzeren kolommen dateert uit de bouwtijd. In 1912 is de villa aanmerkelijk uitgebreid met aanbouwen tegen de linker- en rechter zijgevel. Omschrijving.
De oorspronkelijke hoofdopzet van de villa bestaat uit een middenrisaliet van twee bouwlagen onder een flauw hellend zadeldak, geflankeerd door twee teruggelegen bouwdelen, eveneens twee bouwlagen hoog. Het flauw hellende en ver overstekende zadeldak heeft een daklijst ondersteund door, met snijwerk versierde korbelen. De bakstenen gevels worden verlevendigd door friezen met tegelwerk en houtwerk onder de kapverdieping. In de rondboognissen boven de brede houten vensters van de verdieping in de voor- en achtergevel zijn schilderingen van griffioenen in blauw en goud. Op de parterre is in de voorgevel een driedelig venster en hierboven een balkon op korbelen. De uitbouw met ingang tegen de rechter zijgevel en de drie bouwlagen tellende aanbouw rechts achter zijn in 1912 aangebracht in een bij de oorspronkelijke villa passend materiaalgebruik. Tegen de linker zijgevel was van oorsprong een geheel open warande. In 1912 werd deze gedeeltelijk weggebroken en vervangen door een serre.
