Omschrijving
MARIENDAAL. Kleine 18e-eeuwse onderkelderde in rode baksteen opgetrokken daglonerswoning, genaamd Mariendaal, op langwerpig rechthoekige grondslag, onder met rode pannen gedekt afgeknot schilddak.
Ingangs(oost-)zijde: centraal een deur met 6-ruits bovenlicht. Aan de rechter zijde een getoogde dubbele staldeur met in de linker staldeur een winket. Boven de staldeur een deels boven de dakrand doorgetrokken uitbouw als dakkapel, waarin kozijn met dubbele luiken. Zuidgevel: aan de rechterzijde een geblindeerde paneeldeur met 6-ruits (oorspronkelijk 9-ruits) bovenlicht en links een schuifvenster met luiken met 24-ruitsindeling. Westgevel: drie schuifvensters met 24-ruitsindeling, waarvan de twee rechter vensters van luiken zijn voorzien. Noordgevel: beganegronds bouwsporen van twee ovale vensters. Ten oosten van het huis bevindt zich en bakstenen schuur, die van recente datum is en voor de bescherming van ondergeschikte betekenis is.
Het huis dient compositorisch als schilderachtig stoffage-object in de alhier gelegen kleinschalige aanleg in landsschapsstijl van een slingervijver met solitaire eik, die een onderdeel vormde van een grotendeels verdwenen laat 18e-eeuwse aanleg in landschapsstijl ten oosten van de oostelijke grachtarm van Bingerden.

Description
MARIENDAAL. Small 18th-century undercellared day labourer's dwelling built in red brick, named Mariendaal, on an oblong rectangular ground plan, covered with a hipped roof with red tiles.
Entrance (east) side: centrally a door with 6-pane fanlight. On the right side a curved double stable door with in the left stable door a wicket. Above the stable door a partly extended above the roof edge extension as a roof dormer, in which a window with double shutters. South facade: on the right side a blind panel door with 6-pane (originally 9-pane) fanlight and on the left a sash window with shutters with 24-pane arrangement. West facade: three sash windows with 24-pane arrangement, of which the two right windows are provided with shutters. North facade: ground floor traces of two oval windows. To the east of the house there is a brick shed, which is of recent date and is of minor significance for protection.
The house serves compositionally as a picturesque furnishing object in the small-scale arrangement in landscape style located here of a winding pond with solitary oak, which formed a component of a largely disappeared late 18th-century arrangement in landscape style to the east of the eastern waterway branch of Bingerden.
