Omschrijving
PADDESTOEL OP SOKKEL. Betonnen paddestoel op rechthoekige sokkel met afgeschuinde hoeken uit het einde der 19e eeuw. De paddestoel is in circa 1900 vanuit Engeland naar Bingerden getransporteerd en diende oorspronkelijk als opstap voor het bestijgen van paarden. Een ludieke beschildering van de paddestoel uit de tijd van de eeuwwisseling in rood met witte stippen is geheel afgesleten.
De paddestoel staat thans naast een pendant aan de gracht direct ten westen van het koetshuis opgesteld.

Description
MUSHROOM PEDESTAL ON PLINTH. Concrete mushroom pedestal on rectangular plinth with chamfered corners from the end of the 19th century. The mushroom pedestal was transported from England to Bingerden around 1900 and originally served as a mounting block for mounting horses. A humorous painting of the mushroom pedestal from the turn of the century in red with white spots has entirely worn off.
The mushroom pedestal is currently positioned alongside a companion piece at the moat directly west of the coach house.
