BREUKELEN, Straatweg ongenummerd bij 125 (prieel in rosarium van Nijenrode)inleiding
Centraal in het rosarium achter het kasteel Nijenrode gesitueerd tuinprieel uit de 19e eeuw, mogelijk in oorsprong afkomstig uit Frankrijk en geexposeerd op de Wereldtentoonstelling te Parijs; samengesteld uit brons, koper en ijzer.

Het prieel bestaat uit acht bronzen kolonnetten (met vierkante sokkels op betonnen poeren en met ijzer versterkt) waarop een ingezwenkte met open netwerk uitgevoerde koepel rust en het wordt bekroond door een open lantaarn met zonnewijzer.
Op de bronzen, deels getorste en met lambrequinachtige motieven versierde kolonneten is boven de vergulde bekroningen een ijzeren ring aangebracht met breed rondlopend fries, met vergulde versieringen in de vorm van gebonden lauwertakken en een eierlijst en boven de kolonnetten obeliskvormige punten. Het netwerk is op de knooppunten voorzien van rozetjes en bij de acht ingezwenkte banden van vergulde consoles, waarboven de bronzen ring van de lantaarn. De open bronzen lantaarn heeft verder een achttal door koperen rondbogen met elkaar verbonden zuiltjes op vierkante sokkels, waartussen een met meanderachtige motieven in a-jour uitgevoerd hekwerk, met vergulde kapiteeltjes, waarboven een fries met in bronzen letters het opschrift "non numero nisi serenas horas".
Het met koperen beverstaartleien gedekte dak van de lantaarn heeft een stervormige draagconstructie van ijzeren spanten en wordt bekroond door een open, uit drie cirkels met pijl bestaande zonnewijzer met windvaan.

Garden pavilion dating from the 19th century situated centrally in the rosarium behind castle Nijenrode, possibly originally from France and exhibited at the World Exhibition at Paris; composed of bronze, copper and iron.

The pavilion consists of eight bronze columnettes (with square bases on concrete plinths and reinforced with iron) upon which an inswung cupola executed in open network rests and it is crowned by an open lantern with sundial.
On the bronze, partly torched and decorated with lambrequin-like motifs columnettes a broad running frieze with gilded ornamentations in the form of bound laurel branches and an egg moulding is mounted on an iron ring above the gilded crowning, and above the columnettes obelisk-shaped points. The network is provided at the knots with rosettes and at the eight inswung bands with gilded consoles, above which the bronze ring of the lantern. The open bronze lantern furthermore has eight small columns on square bases connected to each other by copper round arches, between which a lattice work executed in openwork with meandering motifs, with gilded capitals, above which a frieze with the inscription in bronze letters "non numero nisi serenas horas".
The roof of the lantern, covered with copper fish-tail slate, has a star-shaped supporting structure of iron trusses and is crowned by an open sundial consisting of three circles with arrow with weathervane.
