Omschrijving
OOSTELIJKE BROEIKAS. Langwerpige rode broeikas uit ca. 1815, die tesamen met de westelijke broeikas het bordes voor de oranjerie aan de ZO-zijde afsluit. De kas is ca. twee meter onder het maaiveldniveau doorgetrokken en is met glazen lessenaars afgedekt, die ten behoeve van een optimale warmte-ontwikkeling licht gebogen zijn. Het verloop van de broeikas strekt zich over de gehele helft van de breedte van de moestuin uit en reikt aan de ZW-zijde tot aan de lengte-as van de moestuin, die van de poort naar de centrale travee van de oranjerie voert. Deze zijde van de broeikas vertoont in tegenstelling tot de haaks op elkaar geplaatste overige rechte zijden een convexe kromming, die is aangebracht om de gerende positie van de oranjerie ten aanzien van de poort te verbloemen. Door een ondergrondse doorgang, die onder de lengte-as van de moestuin verloopt, staat de oostelijke broeikas met de westelijke broeikas in verbinding.

Description
EASTERN FORCING HOUSE. Elongated red brick forcing house from ca. 1815, which together with the western forcing house closes off the portico in front of the orangery on the SE side. The greenhouse is extended some two metres below ground level and is covered with glass lights, which are slightly curved for optimal heat development. The course of the forcing house extends over the entire half of the width of the vegetable garden and reaches on the SW side to the longitudinal axis of the vegetable garden, which runs from the gate to the central bay of the orangery. This side of the forcing house, in contrast to the other straight sides placed at right angles to each other, shows a convex curvature, which was introduced to conceal the oblique position of the orangery in relation to the gate. Through an underground passage, which runs beneath the longitudinal axis of the vegetable garden, the eastern forcing house connects with the western forcing house.
