Omschrijving
BOERDERIJ WAYESTEIN. Boerderij op rechthoekige grondslag, opgetrokken in rode baksteen onder met rode pannen gedekt zadeldak, uit de 18e eeuw.
Voor(oost-)gevel: vier venster/deur-traveeën brede gevel met van links naar rechts een venster met 6-ruits schuiframen met luiken, een deur met 6-ruits bovenlicht en twee vensters met luiken als boven. In de topgevel een kloosterkozijn.
De boerderij is vermoedelijk na 1710 gebouwd, toen Frederick van Nassau Zuylensteyn, Heer van Wayestein, Zuilenstein van zijn broer William Henry erfde en toen de Middeleeuwse Ridderhofstad Wayestein werd afgebroken. Wellicht is het kloosterkozijn van het oude kasteeltje afkomstig.

Description
WAYESTEIN FARMHOUSE. Farmhouse on rectangular ground plan, constructed in red brick under a gabled roof covered in red tiles, from the 18th century.
Front (east) facade: four window/door bays wide facade with from left to right a window with 6-pane sash windows with shutters, a door with 6-pane fanlight and two windows with shutters as above. In the gable a monastery window.
The farmhouse was presumably built after 1710, when Frederick van Nassau Zuylensteyn, Lord of Wayestein, inherited Zuilenstein from his brother William Henry and when the Medieval manor-court house Wayestein was demolished. The monastery window possibly originates from the old castle.
