Omschrijving
TUINPRIEEL. Houten aan de voor(noord-)zijde open tuinprieel op trapeziumvormige grondslag overkapt met een dakconstructie van twee vierzijdige (voor en achter) en twee driezijdige (zijkanten) dakschilden, met Friese golfpannen gedekt. Het dak wordt bekroond door een imitatie-dakruiter, bestaande uit een houten deels beglaasd schot met als imitatiedak twee boogsgewijs ingezwenkte vlakken waarboven een windwijzer. Centraal op het schot is een liggende witte zandloper geschilderd op een rood fond met een blauwe rand, met aan weerszijden een 4-ruits venster met twee diagonale roeden. Het voorste dakschild wordt gedragen door vier ronde zuilen met ronde sokkel en Dorische kapitelen. De vloer bestaat uit een grondbezetting van gele klinkers.
Het prieel dateert uit ca. 1850 en is op de as van de aanleg op een talud aan het zuideinde van de overtuin geplaatst.

Description
GARDEN PAVILION. Wooden garden pavilion open at the front (north) side on a trapezoidal plan covered with a roof structure of two quadrilateral (front and rear) and two triangular (sides) roof panels, covered with Frisian wave tiles. The roof is crowned by an imitation roof lantern, consisting of a wooden partly glazed screen with as imitation roof two arcuately recessed planes above which a weathervane. Centrally on the screen is a horizontal white hourglass painted on a red ground with a blue border, with on either side a 4-pane window with two diagonal glazing bars. The front roof panel is supported by four round columns with round base and Doric capitals. The floor consists of a bed of yellow clinker bricks.
The pavilion dates from c. 1850 and is placed on the axis of the layout on a slope at the south end of the water garden.
