Inleiding.
Rechterdeel van een vrijstaand bouwblok uit 1893, bestaande uit twee symmetrische herenhuizen op samengestelde plattegrond in neo-renaissance naar ontwerp van G.J. Kurvers. Het oorspronkelijke tuinhek op gemetselde voet is ten dele bewaard.
Omschrijving.
Herenhuis bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder een met shingles gedekt afgeknot schilddak. De gevels zijn in baksteen opgetrokken en worden verlevendigd door gepleisterde horizontale banden, blokken in de ontlastingsbogen en gepleisterde ornamentiek. De gevel aan de Parkweg heeft een breedte van twee vensterassen waarvan de linker risalerend is uitgevoerd. De risaliet heeft op de begane grond een houten rechthoekige serre met stenen borstwering en een dubbele deur geflankeerd door twee ramen met bovenlichten voorzien van getoogde roeden. Op de eerste verdieping een balkon met houten ballustrade. Boven de openslaande deur van het balkon wordt de dakgootlijst doorbroken door een gemetselde dakkapel met hardstenen voluten en geprofileerd hoofdgestel. De teruggelegen rechter as van de voorgevel heeft op de begane grond een open portiek met twee geblokte zuilen. Hier is tevens de ingang. Boven de ingangspartij is een schuifvenster. In de kapverdieping is een kleine dakkapel met tentdak.
Waardering.
Herenhuis met tuinhek van cultuurhistorische waarde als representatief voorbeeld van het wonen voor welgestelden aan het einde van de 19e eeuw in een stedelijk villapark. Architectuurhistorisch van betekenis als representatief voorbeeld van neo-renaissance architectuur. Hoofdvorm, detaillering en toegepast materiaal zijn gaaf.

Townhouse consisting of two storeys under a hipped roof covered with shingles. The facades are built in brick and are enlivened by plastered horizontal bands, blocks in the relieving arches and plastered ornamentation. The facade on the Parkweg has a width of two window bays, the left one of which is executed as a risalit. The risalit has on the ground floor a wooden rectangular conservatory with stone breast wall and a double door flanked by two windows with fanlights provided with arched glazing bars. On the first storey a balcony with wooden balustrade. Above the casement door of the balcony the roof cornice is interrupted by a brick roof dormer with stone volutes and a profiled architrave. The recessed right bay of the front facade has on the ground floor an open portico with two rusticated columns. Here also is the entrance. Above the entrance section is a sash window. In the attic storey is a small roof dormer with tent roof.

Townhouse with garden fence of cultural-historical value as a representative example of dwelling for the well-to-do at the end of the 19th century in an urban villa park.
