Omschrijving
Een van oorsprong middeleeuws dwarshuis van twee bouwlagen en kap evenwijdig aan de rooilijn.
Het pand is twee vakken breed, de kelder is echter drie vakken breed. De beganegrond heeft een 19e eeuwse insteek. Het pand vertoond dezelfde opzet als Lange Smeestraat 3. Blijkens de oorspronkelijke middeleeuwse tussenmuur betreft het vermoedelijk geen later gesplitst pand.
Merkwaardig is de twee vakken brede opzet van het huis (met een moerbalk) terwijl de kelder twee gordelbogen heeft. In de rechter muur van de kelder is een mogelijk oorspronkelijke eenvoudige schouw aanwezig. Rechts in de kelder bevindt zich een toegangstrap vanaf de straat. De gevel is twee traveeën breed onder een kroonlijst, wit gepleisterd met natuursteen imitatie.
Het pand is van bouwhistorisch belang.

Description
A medieval transverse-plan house of two storeys and roof truss structure parallel to the building line.
The property is two bays wide, though the cellar is three bays wide. The ground floor has a 19th-century insertion. The property shows the same layout as Lange Smeestraat 3. According to the original medieval party wall, it is presumably not a later subdivided property.
Remarkable is the two-bay-wide layout of the house (with a collar beam) while the cellar has two arched braces. In the right wall of the cellar there is a possibly original simple fireplace. On the right in the cellar there is an access staircase from the street. The facade is two bays wide under a cornice, white plastered with imitation natural stone.
The property is of architectural-historical importance.
