Een 17e eeuws hoekhuis van twee bouwlagen, een kelder en een kap evenwijdig aan de straat.
Dit huis is vermoedelijk in opzet gelijk aan Lange Nieuwstraat 13, dat eens twee huizen geweest is, waarmee het de kap deelt.
Het voorhuis met moer- en kinderbalklagen, een kelder met tongewelf en een kap met eiken spanten is hoofdzakelijk 17e eeuws. In de muur aan de steeg zijn sporen te herkennen van een middeleeuwse voorganger. De topgevel aan de steeg bevat op zolder de oorspronkelijke ramen.
De voorgevel is oorspronkelijk, echter met 19e eeuwse ramen.
Aan de achterzijde van het huis is in de 17e eeuw een achterhuis, met moer- en kinderbalklagen met sleutelstukken, toegevoegd. De kap hiervan is vervangen door een plat dak.
Het huis is waarschijnlijk een van drie identieke huizen, die in een bouwstroom zijn gebouwd.

Description
A 17th century corner house of two storeys, a cellar and a roof parallel to the street.
This house is presumably in layout similar to Lange Nieuwstraat 13, which was once two houses, with which it shares the roof.
The front building with tie beams and joist layers, a cellar with barrel vault and a roof with oak rafters is mainly 17th century. In the wall facing the lane traces can be recognised of a medieval predecessor. The gable at the lane contains the original windows on the attic floor.
The front facade is original, but with 19th century windows.
On the rear of the house a rear building was added in the 17th century, with tie beams and joist layers with keystones. Its roof has been replaced by a flat roof.
The house is probably one of three identical houses built in a construction programme.
This property is of architectural importance as an example of simple architecture, and moreover as a possible component of a construction programme.
