Koetshuis en tuinhuis behorende tot het claustrale erf van Kromme Nieuwegracht 43.
Het pand bestaat uit een koetshuis, een tuinhuis en een verbindingsdeel. Het koetshuis onder zadeldak evenwijdig aan de rooilijn, ongeveer 10 meter breed en 7 meter diep, dateert uit de 18e eeuw en heeft als voorgevel aan het Pieterskerkhof een lijstgevel met tweestel grote inrijdeuren. Het linker gaf toegang tot de paardestal, het rechter tot het koetsruimte, die aan de tuinzijde open was. Recent is in de voorgevel een extra deur aangebracht. Het zolderluik diende voor de hooizolder die zich over de volle breedte van het pand uitstrekte. Het laat 18e eeuwse huis of vroeg 19e eeuwse tuinhuis, aan de oostzijde in de tuin los van het koetshuis gebouwd, heeft grote empirevensters, waarvan er rechts aan de tuinzijde een overhoeks geplaatst is.
De ruimte tussen koetshuis en tuinhuis was later op eenvoudige wijze overdekt.

Description
Coach house and garden house belonging to the claustral courtyard of Kromme Nieuwegracht 43.
The building consists of a coach house, a garden house and a connecting section. The coach house with a gabled roof parallel to the building line, approximately 10 metres wide and 7 metres deep, dates from the 18th century and has as its front facade on the Pieterskerkhof a cornice-topped facade with a double set of large entrance doors. The left one provided access to the horse stable, the right one to the coach room, which was open on the garden side. Recently an extra door has been installed in the front facade. The late 18th-century or early 19th-century garden house, built on the east side in the garden separately from the coach house, has large empire windows, of which one is placed diagonally on the right on the garden side.
The space between coach house and garden house was later covered in a simple manner.
During the recent restoration, the coach house and garden house were essentially respected, although the garden house received a glass construction, and the connecting section was replaced by new building in two storeys.
The building is of architectural-historical importance and in connection with Kromme Nieuwegracht 43 is of great importance as a rare example of the completely preserved layout of a claustral courtyard. Also of importance for the historic character of the Pieterskerkhof.
