Omschrijving
Pand van middeleeuwse oorsprong, bestaande uit twee bouwlagen, een kelder en een kap evenwijdig aan de straat. Dwars hierop staat een achterhuis met eveneens twee bouwlagen en een kap loodrecht op de straat. De achtergevel is een tuitgevel. Links van het pand bevindt zich een steeg.
Het betreft hier een van oorsprong breed middeleeuws huis. In de 16e eeuw werd dit huis met een beuk naar achter toe uitgebreid en werd het tevens voorzien van scheidingswanden. In de 17e eeuw is dit huis in twee afzonderlijke panden gesplitst, Oude Kamp 7 en 5. Bij deze 17e eeuwse verbouwing is tevens de achterste beuk naar achter toe uitgebreid, waardoor de lengte-as van het huis negentig graden gedraaid is. Het voorhuis is in gebruik geweest als koetshuis, hierop duidt ook nu nog de brede inrij deur.
Het pand is van bouwhistorisch belang vanwege de vele bouwsporen uit zijn gehele geschiedenis en tevens bepalend voor het historisch straatkarakter.

Description
A building of medieval origin, consisting of two storeys, a cellar and a roof truss structure parallel to the street. A rear building stands perpendicular to this, also with two storeys and a roof truss structure perpendicular to the street. The rear facade is a spout gable. To the left of the building there is an alley.
This is an originally wide medieval house. In the 16th century this house was extended by one aisle towards the rear and was also provided with partition walls. In the 17th century this house was split into two separate buildings, Oude Kamp 7 and 5. During this 17th-century alteration, the rearmost aisle was also extended further back, whereby the longitudinal axis of the house was rotated ninety degrees. The front building has been used as a coach house, as indicated by the wide entrance door still present.
The building is of architectural-historical importance because of the many building traces throughout its entire history and is also determinative for the historic street character.
