Omschrijving
Pand met twee beuken evenwijdig aan de straat, van middeleeuwse oorsprong.
Het pand bestaat uit twee bouwlagen met een kelder met op iedere beuk een kap evenwijdig aan de straat tussen twee topgevels. Rechts is een steeg.
Het betreft hier een van oorsprong breed middeleeuws huis. In de 16e eeuw werd dit huis met een naar achter toe uitgebreid en werd het tevens voorzien van scheidingswanden. In de 17e eeuw is dit huis in twee afzonderlijke panden gesplitst, Oude Kamp 5 en 7.
Het pand vertoond nu grotendeels een 17e eeuws uiterlijk met een moer en kinderbalklaag met sleutelstukken op de begane grond en de verdieping.
De achterste beuk vertoont op de beganegrond tevens sporen van een 18e eeuwse verbouwing. Het pand is eind zeventiger jaren van deze eeuw gerestaureerd.
Het pand is van bouwhistorisch belang vanwege de vele bouwsporen uit zijn gehele geschiedenis en tevens van belang voor het historisch straatkarakter.

Description
A building with two aisles parallel to the street, of medieval origin.
The building consists of two storeys with a cellar with on each aisle a roof parallel to the street between two stepped gables. On the right is an alley.
This is originally a broad medieval house. In the 16th century this house was extended to the rear and was also provided with partition walls. In the 17th century this house was split into two separate buildings, Oude Kamp 5 and 7.
The building now shows largely a 17th century appearance with a main beam and subsidiary beam layer with corner posts on the ground floor and the storey.
The rear aisle also shows traces of 18th century alteration on the ground floor. The building was restored in the late 1970s.
The building is of architectural historical importance because of the many building traces from its entire history and is also important for the historic street character.
