Omschrijving
Zeventiende eeuws pand van twee bouwlagen met schilddak met de nok loodrecht op de rooilijn. Rechts een overbouwde toegang naar een voormalige schuilkerk.
Van de lijstgevel rust de goot op een lijst van geprofileerde baksteen met een zwaar natuurstenen middenblok dat aan de binnenzijde fungeert als console voor de inpandige muurplaat. De gevel is op de verdieping vier vensters, onder segmentbogen, breed. Op de begane grond is links een dubbele deur, in het midden twee vensters, rechts een poortje naar het achterom dat fungeerde als toegang naar de 17e eeuwse schuilkerk van de Heilige Augustinus, die op het binnenterrein lag.
De achtergevel is een lijstgevel van twee lagen, drie vensters breed en blind terugwijkend t.p.v. het achterom. De rechter zijmuur is de middeleeuwse muur van het verdwenen rechter buurpand, waarin Jeruzalemstraat 15 ingebalkt is.
Dat pand was minder diep, waardoor het achterom ook niet verder overbouwd is dan middels het inbalken mogelijk was.
De begane grond heeft naast het achterom twee kamers achter elkaar en links vooraan een brede gang (waarvan later de ruimte voor de trap naar de bovenwoning is afgescheiden). Links een doorgang vrijlatend sluit bij de tussenmuren de plaats aan waar zich de spiltrap bevond. Het stenen deel van de trap naar de kelder is nog aanwezig. Slechts de voorkamer is onderkelderd, gedekt door een tongewelf loodrecht op de straat.
Zowel boven de begane grond als de verdieping ligt een enkelvoudige balklaag evenwijdig aan de rooilijn, met 17e eeuwse sleutelstukken. De verdieping heeft een eenvoudige schouw boven het achterom tegen de achtergevel. Het schilddak rust op twee spanten van twee jukken met geschoorde makelaar en twee spanten die hun bovenste juk verloren hebben. Het tweede spant staat niet op een balk maar (rechts) op een console van de zelfde vorm als de sleutelstukken. Het middelste vak is beduidend dieper dan de andere, voor de vliering op hangbalken is in het midden een ruime hijsmogelijkheid geschapen door middel van ravelingen tussen de jukbalken.
Het pand is van bouwhistorisch belang, bepalend voor het historisch straat-karakter en van belang vanwege de hierin opgenomen toegang naar de schuilkerk.

Description
Seventeenth-century building of two storeys with hipped roof with the ridge perpendicular to the building line. To the right an enclosed access to a former hidden chapel.
From the cornice-topped facade the gutter rests on a moulding of profiled brickwork with a heavy natural stone central block that functions on the interior as a console for the in-situ wall plate. The facade has on the upper storey four windows, under segmental arches, wide. On the ground floor on the left a double door, in the middle two windows, on the right a small gate to the rear alley that served as access to the 17th-century hidden chapel of Saint Augustine, which was located on the interior courtyard.
The rear facade is a cornice-topped facade of two storeys, three windows wide and blank receding at the level of the rear alley. The right side wall is the medieval wall of the vanished right neighbouring building, into which Jeruzalemstraat 15 is jointed.
That building was less deep, which is why the rear alley was not built over further than was possible by means of jointing.
The ground floor has besides the rear alley two rooms one behind the other and on the left in front a wide passage (of which later the space for the stair to the upper flat was separated off). Leaving a passage free on the left, the position where the spiral stair was located is adjoined by the party walls. The stone part of the stair to the cellar is still present. Only the front room has a cellar beneath it, covered by a tunnel vault perpendicular to the street.
Both above the ground floor and the upper storey lies a simple beam layer parallel to the building line, with 17th-century keystones. The upper storey has a simple chimney above the rear alley against the rear facade. The hipped roof rests on two rafters of two collars with braced collar tie and two rafters that have lost their upper collar. The second rafter does not rest on a beam but (on the right) on a console of the same form as the keystones. The middle bay is considerably deeper than the others; for the attic on hanging beams a spacious hoisting possibility has been created in the middle by means of ravelling between the collar beams.
The building is of architectural-historical importance, determining for the historic street character and of importance on account of the access to the hidden chapel contained within it.
