ZONNEWIJZER.
Koperen 19e-eeuwse zonnewijzer, bestaande uit een vlakke achtzijdige plaat, die met nagels op een hardstenen achtzijdig bovenstuk is bevestigd. Plaat en bovenstuk rusten op een hardstenen rechthoekige sokkel met rechthoekig tussenstuk, met vakken aan de zijden. In de plaat zijn meridianen en in het Frans gestelde plaatsnamen van belangrijke steden op aarde gegrift. De sokkel loopt naar onderen taps toe.

Description
SUNDIAL.
19th-century copper sundial, consisting of a flat octagonal plate, which is fastened with nails to an octagonal stone top piece. The plate and top piece rest on a rectangular stone plinth with a rectangular intermediate piece, with panels on the sides. Meridians and place names of important cities on earth set in French are engraved in the plate. The plinth tapers towards the bottom.
