In de uiterste zuidwesthoek van het terrein langs de dijk in het eerste kwart van deze eeuw opgetrokken POORT, geintegreerd met een gemetselde TUINMUUR met ezelsrugafdekking, verhoogd bij de getoogde poort naar het kasteelterrein en aan de tuinzijde voorzien van een zestal steunberen; in deze doorgang een stel dubbele deuren, aansluitend op de eenvoudige WELFBRUG over de smalle omgrachting.
Poort met tuinmuur en welfbrug van belang als onderdeel van het Sypesteyn-complex.

Description
In the extreme southwestern corner of the site along the dike, erected in the first quarter of this century, a GATE, integrated with a brick GARDEN WALL with saddle-back coping, raised at the arched gateway to the castle grounds and furnished on the garden side with a set of six buttresses; in this passageway a pair of double doors, adjoining the simple SEGMENTAL ARCH BRIDGE over the narrow moat.
Gate with garden wall and segmental arch bridge of significance as part of the Sypesteyn complex.
