Omschrijving
TOEGANGSBRUG WAAROP IJZEREN HEK MET BALUSTRADE. Van boven vlakke en aan de zijkanten uitzwenkende bakstenen toegangsbrug van de buitenplaats Berbice aan de Leidseweg, waaronder een natuurstenen duiker. Duiker en brug uit einde 17e- of uit 18e eeuw.
De brug wordt bekroond door een ijzeren hek met balustrade, monumentaal 18e-eeuws smeedijzeren witgeschilderd dubbel draaihek met tralies en voluutvormige zijstukken, waarvan de aan de zijstukken gelegen stijlen zijn gevat in de eveneens witgeschilderde handlijsten en regels van wellicht oudere, mogelijk laat 17e-eeuwse balustrade, die aan hun uiteinden licht uitzwenken.

Description
ACCESS BRIDGE WHEREON IRON GATE WITH BALUSTRADE. From above flat and on the sides spreading out brick access bridge of the country estate Berbice on the Leidseweg, underneath a natural stone culvert. Culvert and bridge from late 17th or from the 18th century.
The bridge is crowned by an iron gate with balustrade, monumental 18th-century wrought iron white-painted double swing gate with railings and scroll-shaped side pieces, of which the stiles located on the side pieces are set in the likewise white-painted handrails and rules of possibly older, possibly late 17th-century balustrade, which spread out lightly at their ends.
