Onderkelderd drie verdiepingen hoog pand onder dwarsgeplaatst zadeldak, ontworpen door G. van Arkel en W.Wikens in 1892 (jaartalankers en inscriptie in voorgevel) in een aan neo-renaissance herinnerende bouwtrant. Voorgevel is voorzien van speklagen, natuurstenen sokkel. Rechts ingangspartij met stoep en driezijdige erker met driezijdige koepel afgedekt door een tentluifel met rondboog boven de ingang op consoles; links boven de vensters op de bel-etage rondbogen met driepasvulling, topgevel met trappen, hoekpilasters en speklagen, smeedijzeren bekroning. Inwendig vestibule met marmeren trap, vloer en lambrizering, stucwerk, links en rechts wandbeschildering op doek met voorstelling van schip in het midden, geflankeerd door uitbeelding- in Jugendstiltrant - van de 4 jaargetijden en plafondschilderingen met florale motieven en vogels. In kamers op bel-etage en verdieping daarboven plafondschilderingen met voorstelling van putti en florale motieven, stucwerk in op het classicisme geinspireerde vormen. Trappehal met lichtkoepel in glas-in-lood.

Description
Basement with three storeys above, under transversely placed gabled roof, designed by G. van Arkel and W. Wikens in 1892 (date anchors and inscription in front facade) in a style reminiscent of neo-Renaissance. Front facade furnished with ashlar courses, natural stone plinth. On the right entrance section with stoop and three-sided oriel with three-sided dome covered by a tent canopy with round arch above the entrance on consoles; on the left above the windows on the piano nobile round arches with trefoil filling, stepped gable with steps, corner pilasters and ashlar courses, wrought-iron crown. Inside vestibule with marble staircase, floor and wainscoting, stucco work, left and right wall painting on canvas depicting ship in the centre, flanked by representation in Jugendstil style of the 4 seasons and ceiling paintings with floral motifs and birds. In rooms on the piano nobile and the storey above ceiling paintings depicting putti and floral motifs, stucco work in forms inspired by classicism. Stairwell with light dome in leaded glass.
