Noordelijke woningreeks, Jan van der Heijdenstraat 239/Minckelersstraat 40-48/Merelstraat 2.
Symmetrisch op U-vormige grondslag opgezette woningreeks bestaande uit acht telkens gespiegelde woningen onder langgerekt dwars zadeldak tussen puntgevels, doorbroken door kleine dakkapellen en bij beide uiteinden voorzien van teruggerooide, lage dwarsvleugels onder schilddak met groot overstek, ondersteund door een stalen kolom op een dwarsmuur, waardoor een portiek gevormd wordt voor de in de kopgevels gesitueerde ingangen van de hoekwoningen. Vensters en deuren bij renovatie gewijzigd.

Northern row of houses, Jan van der Heijdenstraat 239/Minckelersstraat 40-48/Merelstraat 2.
Symmetrically arranged row of houses on a U-shaped ground plan consisting of eight mutually mirrored houses under a long transverse gabled roof between pointed gables, interrupted by small roof dormers and at both ends provided with set-back, low transverse wings under a hipped roof with large overhang, supported by a steel column on a transverse wall, thereby forming a porch for the entrances of the corner houses situated in the end gables. Windows and doors altered during renovation.
