Pompgemaal gebouw.
Onderkelderd, in baksteen opgetrokken, op verschillende hoogten plat afgedekt pompgemaalgebouw met in- en uitspringende kubische bouwvolumes, waarvan het middenblok aan de straatzijde hoger is opgetrokken en aan de vijverzijde is voorzien van hoekschoorstenen en een in siersmeedijzerwerk uitgevoerde vlaggemasthouder; tussen de twee zijvleugels een laag tussenlid. De bouwvolumes worden rondom afgesloten door rollagen van koppen en strekken, en zijn voorzien van gelijkvormige houten vensters van verschillende hoogte met horizontale roedenverdeling. De hoofdingang bevindt zich in de westgevel, terwijl beide zijgevels een neven-ingang bevatten met houten deuren uit de bouwtijd. Aansluitend aan het gebouw een omlopende reeks in hoogte varierende terrasmuren, bekroond door een dubbele rollaag van staand gestelde strekken en aan de vijverzijde voorzien van uitkragingen, in het midden lager doorgetrokken. Tegenover de ingangsdeuren zijn de terrasmuren lichtgebogen en sluiten dwarsmuurtjes in verwante trant aan.

Description
Pump station building.
Undercellared, brick-built, pump station building with flat roofs at different levels and alternating recessed and projecting cubic building volumes, of which the central block is raised higher on the street side and is provided with corner chimneys on the pond side and a flag-mast holder executed in ornamental wrought ironwork; between the two side wings a low intermediate section. The building volumes are enclosed all around by rollag courses of headers and stretchers, and are provided with similar wooden windows of varying heights with horizontal glazing bars. The main entrance is located in the west facade, while both side facades contain a secondary entrance with wooden doors from the construction period. Adjacent to the building a continuous series of terrace walls varying in height, crowned by a double rollag course of standing stretchers and provided on the pond side with cantilevered elements, continued lower in the middle. Opposite the entrance doors the terrace walls are slightly curved and abutting cross walls connect in related fashion.
Pump station building, with associated terrace walls, of characteristic architecture for the third phase in the oeuvre development of the work of W.M. Dudok due to the plastic application of cubic building volumes and the use of detailing typical of brick construction, as such and as the principal component of the complex with national monument number 407230 of significance from an architectural-historical, stylistic and typological point of view.
