In 1928 naar ontwerp van W.M. Dudok gerealiseerd schoolgebouw, in oorsprong genaamd Ruysdaelschool en thans deel uitmakend van de verwante Fabritiusschool, opgetrokken met een bouwlaag in baksteen onder samenstel van rieten kappen van wisselende vorm en hoogte, veelal met zwaar overstek, op L-vormige grondslag en met rondom het gezamenlijke schoolplein verbindende pleinmuurtjes en gemetselde bloembakken.
De teruggerooide noordgevel van de langgerekte oostvleugel is witgeverfd en bevat bij beide uiteinden een ingangsdeur. De naar voren uitgebouwde noordelijke dwarsvleugel heeft op de noordoosthoek een terugwaartse sprong en blinde gevels aan noord- en oostzijde, voorts een lager doorgetrokken schild aan de oostzijde en een dwarsmuurtje op de noordhoek; de westgevel bevat veertien gekoppelde vensters met onderverdeelde bovenlichten, terwijl in de kap daarboven een met blauwe pannen gedekte spiegel is aangebracht en aansluitend op de noordwesthoek een driemaal in hoogte afnemende dwarsmuur met doorgaande rollagen.
De zuidgevel bevat een over vrijwel de volle gevelbreedte doorgaande, gelijkmatig onderverdeelde vensterreeks.
Schoolgebouw met een ondanks de latere datum bij de vierde fase in de oeuvre-ontwikkeling in het werk van Dudok aansluitende vormgeving wegens de gematigd-gevarieerde toepassing van blokvormige bouwvolumes en met voor dit gebouwtype en binnen het oeuvre van Dudok tamelijk zeldzame toepassing van rieten kappen, als zodanig van belang uit architectuurhistorisch en stilistisch oogpunt.

Description
School building realised in 1928 to the design of W.M. Dudok, originally named Ruysdaelschool and now forming part of the related Fabritiusschool, erected with one storey in brick under an assembly of thatched roofs of varying form and height, mostly with heavy overhang, on an L-shaped ground plan and with around the shared schoolyard connecting courtyard walls and brick-built flower boxes.
The recessed north facade of the extended east wing is whitewashed and contains an entrance door at both ends. The north cross-wing projected forward has a backward step on the northeast corner and blank gables on the north and east sides, further a lower extended wall on the east side and a cross wall on the north corner; the west facade contains fourteen coupled windows with subdivided fanlights, while in the roof above it a mirror covered with blue tiles is fitted and adjoining the northwest corner a cross wall diminishing three times in height with continuous roll mouldings.
The south facade contains a window series extending over almost the full width of the facade with uniform subdivision.
School building with, despite the later date, a design corresponding to the fourth phase in the oeuvre development in Dudok's work due to the moderately varied application of block-shaped building volumes and with a fairly rare application within this building type and within Dudok's oeuvre of thatched roofs, as such of interest from an architectural historical and stylistic viewpoint.
