Omschrijving
ZUIDOOSTELIJK BOUWHUIS. Langwerpig rechthoekig bakstenen bouwhuis onder met grijze pannen gedekt schilddak, deels uit de 18e (en wellicht 17e) en 19e eeuw, met een tot woning verbouwde oranjerie, koeien- en varkensstal, een paardestal, tuigkamer, voormalige koetsierswoning en koetshuis, met aan de naar het voorplein gesitueerde voorgevel elf venster- en deurtraveeën. Van noordoost naar zuidwest: een hoog gelegen venster met ruitvormige roedenverdeling en deur met aan het genoemde venster identieke en even hoog gelegen bovenlicht, een hoog gelegen venster als voorgaande, een deur met bovenlicht als voorgaande, een hoog gelegen venster als voorgaande, een dubbele houten halfronde deur, die toegang verleent tot het koetshuis en een identieke dubbele deur, die toegang verleent tot het achter dit gedeelte van het bouwhuis gelegen erf (toponiem: Vaalt), waar zich aan de noordoostelijke singel een 19e-eeuwse houtschuur bevindt. Onder deze nis op een rechthoekige stenen sokkel het gebeeldhouwde en bekroonde alliantiewapen van Van Nagell en Du Tour en het jaartal 1853. De sokkel en wapensteen zijn een fragment van een grenspaalwegwijzer, die tot recent aan het begin van de oprijlaan bij de weg van Lochem naar Laren stond opgesteld.

Description
SOUTHEASTERN FARMHOUSE. An elongated rectangular brick farmhouse covered with a hipped roof with grey tiles, dating partly from the 18th (and possibly 17th) and 19th century, comprising a converted orangery, cattle and pig sty, a stable, harness room, former coachman's residence and coach house, with eleven window and door bays on the front facade facing the forecourt. From northeast to southwest: a high window with diamond-shaped glazing bars and a door with a fanlight above it identical to and at the same height as the aforementioned window, a high window as before, a door with fanlight as before, a high window as before, a double wooden semi-circular door, providing access to the coach house and an identical double door, providing access to the farmyard situated behind this section of the farmhouse (place name: Vaalt), where on the northeastern canal bank stands a 19th-century wooden shed. The four windows on the front facade to the southwest of the aforementioned window and door bays were recently inserted into existing partly bricked-up bays, when the southwestern part of the farmhouse, which housed the orangery among other things, was converted into a dwelling. Between the two double semi-circular doors is a niche with a rounded top containing a plaquette with the arms of (Jacques Adriaan Christiaan) Van Nagell, of Ampsen and of (Justina Maria Wilhelmina) Rengers with the date 1855. This date possibly indicates a conversion date of the southeastern farmhouse. Below this niche, on a rectangular stone plinth, the carved and crowned alliance arms of Van Nagell and Du Tour and the date 1853. The plinth and arms stone are a fragment of a boundary marker signpost, which until recently stood at the beginning of the driveway at the road from Lochem to Laren.
In the northeastern section of the farmhouse, north of the coach house, the former coachman's residence, harness room, the so-called English stables and stable from the second half of the 19th century with five boxes, hay racks and a stand with grey tiles all around.
