Omschrijving
Tweebeukige kerk, in oorsprong omstreeks 1500 en herbouwd met gebruikmaking van gedeelten van het gotische muurwerk na een brand in 1699, welke herbouw in 1701 gereed kwam. De twee beuken werden gescheiden door houten palen, in begin 19e eeuw omkleed met zuilen van stucwerk. Beide beuken gedekt door zadeldaken. Eenvoudige, gepleisterde toren, omstreeks 1500, met hoge, in 1967 vernieuwde spits, opgaand van een boogfries. Tot de inventaris behoren: een gesneden preekstoel, eerste helft 17e eeuw, met versiering op het klankbord uit 1702; Omtuining van de preekstoel met voorzangerslezenaar, eerste helft 18e eeuw; predikantslezenaar, doopbekkenhouder en kaarsenarm aan de preekstoel 18e eeuw; koorhek met gesneden middenstuk, eerste helft 18e eeuw; drie herengestoelten, met wapens, eerste helft 18e eeuw; houten portaal, waarboven tien-gebodenbord, 18e eeuw; twee eenvoudige bankenblokken ter weerszijden van de preekstoel, 18e eeuw. Description
Two-aisle church, originally around 1500 and rebuilt using parts of the Gothic masonry after a fire in 1699, which rebuilding was completed in 1701. The two aisles were separated by wooden posts, in the early 19th century clad with columns of stucco work. Both aisles covered by gabled roofs. Simple, plastered tower, around 1500, with high spire renewed in 1967, rising from an arch frieze. The inventory includes: a carved pulpit, first half 17th century, with decoration on the sounding board from 1702; Enclosure of the pulpit with precentor's reading desk, first half 18th century; minister's reading desk, font stand and candle arm at the pulpit 18th century; choir screen with carved central section, first half 18th century; three gentlemen's gallery seats, with coats of arms, first half 18th century; wooden portal, above which Ten Commandments board, 18th century; two simple pew blocks on either side of the pulpit, 18th century. Organ with Great Work and Positive Organ, presumably made by W. Beekes in 1835. Bell cote with bell by J. Ouderogge, 1709, diam. 100 cm.
