"Huis Bloemdaal"; ten dele uit 1612 daterend, voormalig veerhuis dat ca. 1970 vrij ingrijpend is hersteld; grotendeels in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken pand zonder verdieping bestaande uit twee evenwijdige bouwdelen op rechthoekige plattegrond en onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekte zadeldaken tegen tuitgevels aan de oostzijde, omlopend aan de westzijde en tegen tuitgevel aan de westzijde van de zuidgevel. In de oostgevel met gepleisterde plint een 10-ruits schuifraam en twee zoldervensters in het noordelijke deel en een kelderlicht, een 10-ruits schuifvenster en twee zoldervensters in het zuidelijk deel. In de zuidgevel met gepleisterde plint vier 20-ruits ramen en een 9-ruits zoldervenster, alle voorzien van ontlastingsbogen met geprofileerde bakstenen lijst en op de b.g. met natuurstenen blokjes. In de gepleisterde westgevel twee 10-ruits schuifvensters, een gevelsteen met het wapen van Bloemendaal en openslaande deuren met bovenlichten en kleine roedenverdeling. In de noordgevel twee 15-ruits ramen, een deur met 6-ruits bovenlicht en een 10-ruits schuifraam. Inwendig: tongewelfde kelder onder gedeelte van zuidelijk bouwdeel; moer- en kinderbinten balklagen met consoles. De aanbouw tegen de noordgevel valt niet onder de bescherming.

Description
"Huis Bloemdaal"; partly dating from 1612, former ferry house that was substantially restored around 1970; largely built in fair-faced brickwork, a building without a storey consisting of two parallel structural units on a rectangular floor plan and covered with blue Dutch tile gabled roofs against spout gables on the east side, extending around on the west side and against spout gable on the west side of the south facade. In the east facade with plastered plinth a 10-pane sash window and two attic windows in the northern part and a cellar light, a 10-pane sash window and two attic windows in the southern part. In the south facade with plastered plinth four 20-pane windows and a 9-pane attic window, all provided with relieving arches with profiled brick moulding and on the ground floor with natural stone blocks. In the plastered west facade two 10-pane sash windows, a facade stone with the coat of arms of Bloemendaal and opening doors with fanlights and small glazing bars. In the north facade two 15-pane windows, a door with 6-pane fanlight and a 10-pane sash window. Interior: barrel-vaulted cellar under part of the southern structural unit; principal and secondary rafter tie-beam floor joists with consoles. The extension against the north facade is not covered by the designation.
