Omschrijving
Boerderij van het dwarsdeeltype, Overmase vorm; bakstenen gebouw onder afgewolfd rieten zadeldak. Symmetrische voorgevel met zesruits vensters en paneeldeur. Belangrijk v.w. ligging. XIX.
De ruime, vrije ligging in een flauwe bocht aan een hoofdweg weg door de bebouwde kom van Almkerk bezorgt de boerderij een bijzonder opmerkelijke situering met karakteristiek-historische landschappelijke waarde. De forse bouwvolumes komen mede vanwege de voor de boerderij gelegen moestuin onbelemmerd tot uitdrukking.
Het woongedeelte van de driebeukige boerderij is aan de rechterzijde onderkelderd. De troggewelfjes zijn weggebroken; er is nog slechts een half gewelfje over. Achter de voordeur loopt tot aan de brandmuur een centrale gang. Op de vloer van het woongedeelte liggen rode plavuizen. Het bedrijfsgedeelte telt vijf traveeën waarvan de sporenkap wordt gedragen door een zware houten constructie op bakstenen poeren. In de schuur is in de middenbeuk, ter hoogte van de eerste travee, een cirkelvormige klinkerbestrating voor een karnmolen gelegd waar in het verleden een trekhond zijn arbeid verrichtte. De rechter zijgevel van het bedrijfsgedeelte heeft ter hoogte van de vierde travee twee grote inrijdeuren en is op de gepotdekselde verdieping voorzien van drie hooiluiken. De linker zijgevel is vanaf de tweede travee gepotdekseld. De geveltop aan de achterzijde is eveneens gepotdekseld. Het gehele dak van de boerderij is met uitzondering van de linkerhelft van het bedrijfsgedeelte gedekt met riet.
De driebeukige boerderij is van monumentaal belang vanwege de intacte hoofdstructuur van woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte en voorhuis met centrale middengang. Daarnaast hebben de houten hoofdconstructie van de driebeukige schuur en de gepotdekselde gevels bouwhistorische waarde en geldt ook het rieten dak als karakteristiek voor dit monument van landelijke bouwkunst.

The spacious, open location in a gentle bend along a main road through the built-up area of Almkerk gives the farmhouse a particularly striking setting with characteristic-historical landscape value. The substantial building volumes are displayed unobstructed also because of the market garden situated in front of the farmhouse.
The residential section of the three-aisled farmhouse is undercellared on the right side. The barrel vaults have been broken through; only half a vault remains. Behind the front door a central corridor runs to the party wall. The floor of the residential section is laid with red tiles. The business section comprises five bays, the roof truss structure of which is supported by a heavy wooden construction on brick piers. In the barn, in the middle aisle at the level of the first bay, a circular clinker paving has been laid for a churn mill where in the past a draught dog performed its work. The right side gable of the business section has two large cart doors at the level of the fourth bay and is provided with three hay doors on the daubed-over storey. The left side gable has been daubed over from the second bay. The gable top at the rear is likewise daubed over. The entire roof of the farmhouse is covered with thatch except for the left half of the business section.
The three-aisled farmhouse is of monumental importance because of the intact main structure of residential and business section and front house with central middle corridor. Furthermore, the wooden main structure of the three-aisled barn and the daubed-over gables have building-historical value and the thatched roof is also characteristic of this monument of rural architecture.
