Omschrijving
Op het v.m. bolwerk Generaliteit hoog gelegen stenen achtkante molenromp, daterend uit het tweede kwart van de 19e eeuw.
De gepleisterde stenen achtkante molenromp zonder kap en wieken, is gebouwd op de stenen voet van een houten voorganger; aan de bovenzijde bevindt zich een muizetandfries.
Het maalwerk van de v.m. korenmolen is nog in de romp aanwezig.
Onder de molen is een uitloper van een 17e eeuws gangenstelsel aangetroffen.
De molenromp op het v.m. bolwerk Generaliteit is van cultuurhistorisch monumentaal belang vanwege de zeldzaamheid van de gemetselde achtkant, het nog aanwezig zijn van het maalwerk, als ook de situering op het v.m. bolwerk.

INLEIDING
Op het voormalige bolwerk Generaliteit hoog gelegen bakstenen, achtkante MOLENROMP, restant van een korenmolen die hier rond 1830 werd gebouwd.
OMSCHRIJVING
De gedeeltelijk gepleisterde bakstenen achtkante MOLENROMP is gebouwd op de stenen voet van een houten voorganger. Aan de bovenzijde bevindt zich een muizetandfries en daaronder enkele steigergaten. De gevels zijn voorzien van diverse afgeronde of getoogde, gemetselde gevelopeningen. Op de begane grond een dubbele houten deur met houten latei en gemetselde boog met baksteenvulling. In de romp is nog het maalwerk van de voormalige korenmolen aanwezig. Weegschaal uit 1636?????
WAARDERING
MOLENROMP van cultuurhistorisch monumentaal belang vanwege de zeldzaamheid van de gemetselde achtkant, het nog aanwezig zijn van het maalwerk, als ook de situering op het voormalige bolwerk.

The partially plastered brick octagonal MILL BODY is built on the stone foundation of a wooden predecessor. At the top is a mouse-tooth frieze and below it several scaffolding holes. The facades are furnished with various rounded or arched, mortared facade openings. On the ground floor a double wooden door with wooden lintel and mortared arch with brick infill.
