Omschrijving
R.K. Kerk (St. Maarten). Oorspronkelijke pseudobasiliek, die in 1916 op de twee westelijke schiptraveeen na werd afgebroken en in neogotische trant herbouwd. De romaanse toren uit XII, met vierkante traptoren tegen de noordgevel en latere kop, bleef behouden. Inventaris: gotische zandstenen doopvont met traceerwerk en maskers; Mariabeeld, laat-gotisch en corpus van een kruisbeeld. (XVII). Mechanisch torenuurwerk B. Eijsbouts, Asten, 1913, nr. 449, is buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
R.C. Church (St. Maarten). Originally a pseudo-basilica, which in 1916 was demolished except for the two western nave bays and rebuilt in neo-Gothic style. The Romanesque tower from the 12th century, with a square stair turret against the north façade and later top, was retained. Inventory: Gothic sandstone font with tracery work and masks; statue of Mary, late-Gothic and corpus of a crucifix (17th century). Mechanical tower clock B. Eijsbouts, Asten, 1913, no. 449, has been put out of service.
