Omschrijving
St. Antonius, 1856, gewijd 1867. Vroeg werk van P.J.H. Cuypers. Driebeukige kruisbasiliek met westtoren in eenvoudige, neogotische baksteenvormen. Slanke, natuurstenen pijlers met kolonnetten en kelkkapitelen. De toren is een voorstudie voor de twee jaar later gebouwde toren van de St. Martinuskerk in Wijk-Maastricht. Tweeklaviers orgel, ca. 1890 gemaakt, vermoedelijk door M. Maarschalkerweerd.

Description
St. Antonius, 1856, consecrated 1867. Early work of P.J.H. Cuypers. Three-aisle cruciform basilica with west tower in simple, neo-Gothic brick forms. Slender, natural stone pillars with colonettes and chalice capitals. The tower is a preliminary study for the two years later built tower of St. Martinuskerk in Wijk-Maastricht. Two-manual organ, made c. 1890, presumably by M. Maarschalkerweerd.
