Omschrijving
St.Martinus, geconsacreerd 1893, E.J.Margry. Neogotische kruisbasiliek met smaller koor, omgeven door een omgang. Toren met twee rijk geprofileerde nissen in iedere gevel van de klokkenverdieping, bekroond door frontalen en een naaldspits. Het schip heeft schoorbogen. Prismatische bundelpijlers met bakstenen kolonetten en van de lijstkapitelen opgaande geringe schalken. Het koor heeft gepolijst granieten zuilen met bladkapitelen. Pijlers, bogen en kruisribgewelven zijn als schoonwerk behandeld, de muurvlakken zijn gepleisterd. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, waarschijnlijk B. Eijsbouts, circa 1920, later voorzien van elektrische opwinding.

Description
St. Martinus, consecrated 1893, E.J. Margry. Neogothic cruciform basilica with narrower choir, surrounded by an ambulatory. Tower with two richly moulded niches in each facade of the bell storey, crowned by frontals and a needle spire. The nave has pointed arches. Prismatic bundle pillars with brick columns and slight brackets rising from the list capitals. The choir has polished granite columns with leaf capitals. Pillars, arches and cross-ribbed vaults are treated as fair-faced work, the wall surfaces are plastered. Mechanical tower clock, probably B. Eijsbouts, circa 1920, later provided with electric winding.
