Omschrijving
Voormalig bejaardencentrum "Rustoord II" (1904) van de Maatschappij van Weldadigheid, opgericht 1818. Thans in gebruik als: "Buitencentrum". Witgepleisterd gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond en rustend op bakstenen plint. Symmetrische indeling, met rondbogige centrale ingangspartij in iets terugliggend middengedeelte en schuifvensters met luiken en 4-ruits/12-ruits indeling elk; bakstenen ontlastingsbogen; gelijkvormige vensters in de iets vooruitstekende zijvleugels, die tot hoogte van de zolderverdieping ietwat uitkragen en een chalet-achtige decoratie vertonen en zijn uitgerust met gekoppelde vensters. Het geheel wordt gedekt door een met rode pannen belegd omlopend schilddak, dat bij de uitstekende zijvleugels even is afgewolfd. Op de wolfeinden en de dakkapel in het middenschild een pinakel. Gebouw behorende tot de kolonie-gebouwen van de Maatschappij tot de kolonie-gebouwen van de Maatschappij van Weldadigheid. Description
Former rest home "Rustoord II" (1904) of the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid, founded 1818. Now in use as: "Buitencentrum". Whitewashed building on rectangular plan and resting on brick plinth. Symmetrical layout, with round-arched central entrance section in slightly recessed central section and sash windows with shutters and 4-light/12-light arrangement each; brick relieving arches; similar windows in the slightly projecting side wings, which to the height of the attic storey project somewhat and show chalet-like decoration and are equipped with coupled windows. The whole is covered by a hipped roof with red tiles, which is slightly rounded off at the projecting side wings. On the half-hipped ends and the roof dormer in the central roof a pinnacle.
