Omschrijving
Voormalige fabriek, gebouwd in 1900 als mandemakerij/weverij en uitgerust met aparte smederij, die oorspronkelijk sheddaken kende. Hoofdgebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond, met aangebouwde resten van voormalige smederij op eveneens rechthoekige plattegrond. Het geheel is opgetrokken uit baksteen en wordt gedekt met een door blauwe pannen gedekt omlopend zadeldak, voorzien van enige schoorstenen. Het complex, waarvan het middengedeelte iets terugligt, vertoont een symmetrische indeling; lichtgetoogde zesruitsvensters en enkele vensteropeningen. In het terugliggende gedeelte boven elkaar twee stel hijsdeuren, waarvan die in de kap in de vorm van een dakhuis; de iets vooruitspringende gedeelten zijn voorzien van een vlakke hoekpilaster, die zich langs de geveltoppen getrapt voortzet. Langs de goten een eenvoudige geprofileerde lijst. Gebouw behorende tot de kolonie-gebouwen van de Maatschappij van Weldadigheid. Description
Former factory, built in 1900 as basket-making/weaving works and equipped with separate smithy, which originally had shed roofs. Main building on rectangular plan, with attached remains of former smithy also on rectangular plan. The whole is built of brick and is covered with a gabled roof covered with blue tiles, provided with some chimneys. The complex, of which the central section projects slightly back, shows a symmetrical layout; lightly arched six-light windows and some window openings. In the recessed section above each other two sets of hoist doors, of which the one in the roof in the form of a roof dormer; the slightly projecting sections are provided with a flat corner pilaster, which continues stepped along the gable tops. Along the gutters a simple moulded moulding. Building belonging to the colony buildings of the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid.
