Omschrijving
Monumentaal patriciershuis (tweede kwart achttiende eeuw) ter breedte van acht vensterassen en bestaande uit parterre met twee verdiepingen. Hardstenen plint met getoogde keldervensters, in Lodewijk XIV-trant versierde deuromlijsting met bovenlicht en gesneden omlijsting van het bovenvenster. Boven het hoofdgestel van de deur een lindeboom, het wapen van de bouwheer, burgemeester Abraham van der Linden. Geheel links een eenvoudiger deuromlijsting. De kroonlijst heeft gesneden Lodewijk XIV-consoles. De getoogde vensters van de bovenste verdieping stoten in het hoofdgestel door. In het lage zadeldak twee getoogde dakvensters met zijvoluten. Op de rechterhoek een driezijdige erkeruitbouw met hardstenen plint en tentdak. Description
Monumental patrician house (second quarter of the eighteenth century) with width of eight window bays and consisting of ground floor with two upper storeys. Hard stone plinth with arched cellar windows, door surround decorated in Louis XIV style with fanlight and carved surround of the upper window. Above the entablature of the door a linden tree, the coat of arms of the builder, mayor Abraham van der Linden. Far left a simpler door surround. The cornice has carved Louis XIV consoles. The arched windows of the uppermost storey pass through the entablature. In the low gabled roof two arched roof windows with side volutes. On the right corner a three-sided bay window projection with hard stone plinth and tent roof. Interior: two rooms with painted ceilings by Gerard Sanders, 1750, panelling, Louis XV and carved chimney piece with chimney piece.
