Omschrijving
MUSEUM voor de Nederlandse Zeevisserij. Patriciershuis (XVIIIc) met dwars schilddak, bekroond door twee gemetselde schoorstenen met kappen. Sobere lijstgevel van vier vensterassen. Deuromlijsting met verdiepte pilasters en hoofdgestel, hardstenen plint met zware rococo-ornamentatie, stoep met fraaie stoeppalen en bordes met smeedijzeren hek. Zesdelige empire-schuiframen, in de parterrevensters bij de restauratie opnieuw aangebracht. Inwendig: gesneden binnenpui met deuren en snijraam, waarin klok, Lod. XVI, voorkamer met geschilderde behangsels en geschilderd plafond, alsmede gesneden schouw in Lod. XV-vormen, waarin schoorsteenstuk.

Description
MUSEUM for Dutch Sea Fishing. Patrician house (second half of 18th century) with transverse hipped roof, crowned by two brick chimneys with caps. Sober cornice-topped facade of four window bays. Door surround with recessed pilasters and entablature, hard stone plinth with heavy rococo ornamentation, step with fine bollards and dais with wrought-iron fence. Six-part empire sash windows, in the ground-floor windows newly installed during restoration. Interior: carved interior shop front with doors and cut-out frame, in which clock, Louis XVI style, front room with painted hangings and painted ceiling, as well as carved chimney piece in Louis XV forms, in which chimney piece.
