Slot der Boede. Onderkelderd landhuis van statige allure uit omstreeks 1740. Zware kroonlijst, gedragen door vier pilasters en groot driehoekig fronton als bekroning van het vooruitspringende middengedeelte. Inwendig: zaal met geschilderd behang (doek) en marmeren schoorsteenmantel met wit marmeren versiering (XVIIId), afkomstig uit een huis aan de Londense kaai te Middelburg. Trap met gesneden balusters en trappenhuis met stucwerk Lod.XIV in corridor, zaal en zijkamer. Inrijhek met hardstenen posten (XVIIIA).

Description
Slot der Boede. Cellared country house of stately appearance from around 1740. Heavy cornice, supported by four pilasters and large triangular pediment as the crowning of the projecting central section. Interior: hall with painted wallpaper (canvas) and marble fireplace mantel with white marble decoration (mid-18th century), coming from a house on the London quay at Middelburg. Stairs with carved balusters and stairwell with Louis XIV stucco work in corridor, hall and side room. Entrance gate with hard stone posts (first half 18th century).
