Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Gorinchem, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken, gracht en bijbehorende bebouwing en objecten zoals hierna genoemd.
De aanleg vormt een onderdeel van de noordoostelijke verdedigingswal van Gorinchem en omvat de courtine tussen bastion X en bastion XI, voorliggende natte gracht en ravelijn met voorliggende ravelijnsgracht.
In de courtine bevindt zich een grondgedekt, gemetseld, kruitmagazijn.

Description
Segment of fortification work of Gorinchem fortress, forming part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. The work consists of an earthwork installation, moat and associated buildings and objects as named below.
The installation forms part of the north-eastern defensive wall of Gorinchem and comprises the curtain between bastion X and bastion XI, moat in front and ravelin with moat in front.
In the curtain there is an earth-covered, brick, powder magazine.
