Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Gorinchem, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken en gracht zoals hierna genoemd.
De aanleg vormt een onderdeel van de zuidoostelijke verdedigingswal van Gorinchem en omvat de courtine tussen bastion VIII en bastion IX , voorliggende natte gracht, ravelijn met resten van de ravelijnsgracht en dam.

Segment of fortification work of Gorinchem fortress, forming part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. The work consists of an earthwork installation and moat as named below.
The installation forms part of the south-eastern defensive wall of Gorinchem and comprises the curtain between bastion VIII and bastion IX, moat in front, ravelin with remains of the ravelin moat and dam.
